Böda Sand – The pearl of Ă–land
KronoCamping Böda Sand is one of Sweden’s most complete holiday facilities. It is located on a long, child-friendly beach. In the area there are trampolines and many nice play areas and mini golf.
Lodging:
Choose from campsites, cottages in many different sizes, “love nests” or motorhomes.
It is low season at the campsite in early June and accommodation costs are at the lowest level. In addition, we have received extra discounts during the festival. If you book a tent site or cottage, you get a 20% discount if you stay 7 nights or longer. 6 days or less gives a 10% discount.
To get these discounts, you must call the reception tel. 0485-222 00 and if you have already booked in another way, you can call the reception and ask for the discount afterwards. It is also possible to book the campsites and cottages per day.
Because the festival begins on a Friday, the camping has made an exception from the Sunday to Sunday booking policy. Contact them at info@bodasand.se or by telephone: 0485-222 00
It is also possible to rent accommodation outside the campsite if you prefer. Lugnets Stugby is the closest and consists of many pleasant, large cottages with 2 or 3 bedrooms that you can share with others. It is a 10 minute bike ride from the holiday village to the festival, or a 20 minute walk through nature. http://www.lugnetsstugby.se/
Food:
There is a well-stocked ICA supermarket located in the center of the campground. Open 8-18 (closed for lunch 13-14)
The campground has nice cooking facilities if you want to make your own food but please note there are no pots and pans or any kitchenware provided in these kitchens. The cottages all come with cooking ware.
There is often a food group in which those who want can connect and take turns buying and cooking together.
The Beach Club restaurant is beautifully located near the beach. They offer a complete lunch and dinner menu, Ă–land’s specialties and Ă la carte of high quality. The restaurant is open every day between 12:00 and 20:00.
Centro Pizzeria, a very pleasant restaurant located in the center of the campground, is open 29/5-31/5. The hours are Friday and Saturday evening from 17-20 and Sunday from 12-20.
Food Market Grill and Deli opens on 6/6. It is open from 12-18
The bakery: The bakery opens for the season on 6/6, from 8-15.
The Water Park opens on June 6th and is open every day between 10-18. There you will find water slides, Skeppet Makalösa, children’s pool with sun protection, swimming pool 25m, cafĂ© & ice cream, and baby pool.
