Böda Sand – Öland’s Pearl
The festival is held at Kronocamping Böda Sand, which is Sweden’s largest holiday resort. The campsite is located along a 20 km-long white sandy beach and is a complete village with a pool, spa, sauna world, shops, restaurant, bakery, and an ICA grocery store. The area also includes Böda Sand GK – a full-length 9-hole course. It is a paradise for families, with a child-friendly beach, sauna, adventure water park, spa, fun showers, swimming, and lots of facilities for children.
Böda Sand’s campsite is about 75 km north of the Öland Bridge.

Accommodation:
Choose from camping pitches, cabins in many different sizes, a “love nest”, tents, or motorhomes.
It is low season at the campsite in early June, and accommodation costs are at their lowest level. In addition, we have received extra discounts during the festival. If you book a tent pitch or a cabin, you get a 20% discount if you stay 7 nights or longer. 6 days or fewer gives a 10% discount.
To get these discounts, you must call the reception at tel. 0485-222 00, and if you already booked in another way you can call the reception and ask for the discount afterwards. It is also possible to book the cabins per day.

Food:
The campsite has nice kitchens where you can cook your own food, but note that they are not equipped with pots and other kitchen utensils. However, there are private equipped kitchens in most cabins. Cooking groups often form, where you can team up and take turns buying groceries and cooking together.
There is an ICA store in the middle of the area. Opening hours are 8–18 (closed for lunch 13–14). From June 2 the hours are 8–20, and the store will not close for lunch.
The Beach Club restaurant is beautifully located near the beach. They offer a full lunch and dinner menu, Öland specialties, and high-quality à la carte. From 12.00–17.00, lunch is served including a salad buffet and coffee. The restaurant is open 12.00–17.00 on weekdays and 12.00–21.00 on weekends.
Food Market Grill and Deli opens on 6/6. The hours are 12–18.
The bakery: “We bake all bread from scratch in our bakery and bake with butter.” Here you will definitely find plenty of favorites for today’s morning coffee, beach snack, evening coffee… We have several gluten-, milk- & lactose-free products (baked on our premises) and also a good selection of vegan products. The bakery opens on June 6 and is open between 8–15.
The water park opens on 6/6 and is open every day between 10–18. There you’ll find water slides, the ship Makalösa, a children’s pool with sun protection, a 25 m swimming pool, café & ice cream, and a baby pool.
On the grounds there are trampolines and many nice playground areas and mini golf.
