Space of Love Festival
Here we celebrate summer and meet both new and old friends. We try new ways to get to know ourselves, each other and how we can live in ever more beauty on our planet. We are blessed with a varied nature with forest, meadows, sea and white sandy beach, sunrise, birdsong and an often clear blue sky. Here we all have the opportunity to relax and land, go deep and allow our hearts to open.

We find new connections and new doors to open. Space of Love – the space of love that we create within and outside of ourselves we take home with us when we leave the festival.
Every year we put together a program with different variations of healing movements, music, dance, meditation, gong bath, self-development, tantra, singing, laughter and much more.
The festival is for the whole family. Children can participate in children's workshops or just play in the child-friendly environment.
The festival is held at the Böda Sand campsite which has Sweden's longest sandy beach so sunbathing and swimming in the sea is a wonderful part of the festival experience. The campsite is full of opportunities for all ages. There you can stay simply in a tent or in a luxury cabin, enjoy the beach, the beautiful nature, the restaurant, the bakery, the pool, mini golf, regular golf, playgrounds for the children, spa and sauna; something for everyone.
Workshops
At the festival, you can choose from different workshops several times a day. There is a wide range of classes, including singing and voice, meditation, qi gong, sound healing, tantra, shamanic work, drumming, meditation, family constellations, dance and more.

On the beach you will find a sauna where you can sit and look out at the ocean waves while you warm up.
This year, as in previous years, many of our favorite teachers will be returning and some new ones will be joining us. Click on “teachers” to see who will be coming and what they have to offer. The list will be updated in the spring.
Music
Music is of course an important ingredient in Space of Love. We have singing and voice workshops as well as “bhajans”. Like yoga, bhajans also originated in India and are often short, repetitive songs with a spiritual theme that are sung together. The evening program can consist of singing around the campfire, open stage or concerts. Over the years we have had many fantastic artists and bands who have got everyone on their feet.

The festival has its origins in the yoga festival that Harnam Singh (1950-2013) started after becoming sober with the support of his devotion to kundalini yoga.
Out of gratitude to Harnam Singh and in respect and love for all those who may have walked a similar path, we do not use alcohol or drugs on the festival grounds.
Yoga
The first activity of the day begins at 04:00 with sunrise yoga. The official name for this is Sadhana and it includes singing and meditation. This tradition has been around since the beginning of the festival when Harnam Singh celebrated his 50th birthday in 2000 by traveling alone to Böda beach. His experience of sadhana on the beach was so powerful that he decided to invite his friends the following year. The festival was born then, in 2001 and has continued in the same spirit ever since.

We continue with yoga at several times during the day and offer kundalini but also many other types of yoga. It can be yin yoga, hatha, satyananda, restorative, acroyoga, holistic yoga, yoga for women and more.
Gong baths have proven to be very popular. They can be a component of yoga and involve lying down while skilled gong players create vibrations that have a pleasurable and healing effect on the body.
Children and youth activities

Space of Love has developed into an annual milestone for many families with children who return year after year to give both children and parents a wonderful start to the summer. Here the children meet friends in a yogic atmosphere. Every morning starts with a morning gathering where we meet each other and the day's activities are presented. After that, the children's group begins where we get to know each other and have fun. Yoga play can consist of exercises to discover breathing as a life tool, to actively listen outwardly and inwardly, to build self-esteem and self-confidence, to improve coordination, balance, memory, concentration, patience, cooperation, setting and understanding boundaries, sharing and expressing oneself, etc. On some afternoons you can practice circus arts. In the circus school you can learn to walk on a tightrope, juggle, do magic, balance on a ball or spin plates on sticks. Activities for young people over 12 years of age will be designed on site according to the needs and wishes of the group. Some adult workshops are also family-friendly. For the little ones, childcare is available to book during the various workshop sessions.

The first day of the festival on May 30th starts with an outdoor opening ceremony at 3:30 PM, followed by evening yoga at 5:00 PM and a welcome ceremony at 8:30 PM. On the last day, we have a closing ceremony that ends before lunch and if necessary, we will adapt to the bus departure time.

Space of Love Fotopolicy
It's always fun to have photos to look at and share with others during and after the festival. It's also a great way to spread the experience to people who aren't there so they can get a glimpse of the magic that happens at Space of Love every year. And with the photos we can attract others who keep the Space of Love alive.
Don't want to be in photos? If you don't want to be in the picture: stay to the right of the teacher/to the right of the activity and the photographer will avoid taking pictures of that side. You should never have to feel uncomfortable – the pictures are about capturing love, community and flow and being able to share the memory of this together, not putting someone in the center who doesn't want to.
If you still see a picture of yourself that you don't want to be on Instagram or Facebook, just let us know and we'll remove it! It's also a great idea to talk to the photographer beforehand about whether you don't want to be in the picture and the photographer will avoid taking your picture.
If you would like to be tagged in the pictures so that you can spread them further, just talk to our photographer and we will of course solve it.
Children's policy
Those of you who have children in the children's group can let us know when submitting if you do not want your children to be in the photos. Together we will solve this!
